The Story Behind the Name
After much brainstorming, we arrived at the name; The Change Lounge. The name reflects our belief that challenge creates the opportunity to step back, rethink direction and lead change more decisively.
The term 'lounge' signifies a comfortable space for leaders and individuals to think clearly, explore new possibilities and make better decisions before moving forward.
Given our backgrounds in change, we have long been interested in what it really takes for people and organisations to survive and thrive, particularly when each day brings new issues, some small, some significant.
The process of navigating change necessitates a paradigm shift in our mindset, viewing change not as a threat, but as a catalyst for growth and improvement.
Change and adaptation are a natural part of progress. Without change, there can be no evolution or reinvention. Yet in practice, many leaders and organisations resist change because it disrupts routines, creates uncertainty and demands new ways of thinking. That resistance is human, but in today’s environment it carries real risk.
